We once again celebrate rhythmic music that goes into ones core in Tampere, the core of Finland’s underground *core scene. There will be performances by many artists who have appeared on the Kovaydin.NET netlabel, who will now play for the first time at our party. There will also be interesting international guests. Besides hardcore, breakcore is also nicely represented both in the rage and the deeper compartments. We will party from evening till the morning on Friday-Saturday and Saturday-Sunday nights and on Saturday afternoon there will also be workshop action!

AM/PM Programme aka Miika Salo serves local hardcore roasted in 200+ bpm with breakcore filling and speedcore topping; with old-school acid and splitter salad as a side dish.
DoomsDay Sounds LIVE
DoomsDay Sounds is a one man hardcore/terror/speedcore army from Riihimäki. The gentleman produces music mainly for his own joy and for the annoyance of others. Besides a few gigs abroad (Sounds of Chaos in Stockholm/SE, Finnish Night in St. Petersburg/RU and Brainattacks: The Summer Night Attacks in Apeldoorn/NL) he has played mainly at Kovaydin.NET crew’s parties as well as being an organizer.
Headache LIVE
Headache started making music in the year 2004 and his first released track was already the next year on Ketacore Records’ first 12″ vinyl. After this Headache has released on Neurotic Waste, This Is Terror CD compilations and he has also been seen on Kovaydin.NET’s weblabel among others. He also has his own digilabel called Fuck Off Recordings on which he releases more experimental hardcore tracks. Headache live will be 200+ bpm core mixed with turntablism.
Insectoid in Isolation LIVE & Shatterling LIVE
Shatterling aka Insectoid in Isolation is a producer / live-act from Espoo. Besides Kovaydin.NET, his past and upcoming releases can be found on Noisj.nl, Antistatic, Instagib, Battle Audio and Ruptured Eardrum labels among others. The Shatterling live will consist of Industrial Hardcore and Crossbreed, whereas the Insectoid in Isolation live set will contain a unique combination of IDM, Breaks, Ambient, Industrial Hardcore and Breakcore.
Jamppa LIVE
Jamppa is a Hardcore artist and Kovaydin.NET’s active member from Pori. He has made core since 2005 and his first webrelease was on GvC Industry in 2007, after which he has done 4 more webreleases. His first live gig was in Tampere at Brainbashers: Autumn Depression Cure in 2009, after which Jamppa has played gigs in Tampere, Pori, Oulu, Turku and St. Petersburg and has been organizing with the crew. This time he will play an industrial hardcore live set.
JS666 LIVE
Do you also feel that you can’t listen to everything you want with the excessive supply of contemporary music? Many fine classics and newer hits bounce all around the world spreading too wide? A normal human can’t have the desired piece of the too largely inflated music cake? JS666 offers one kind of solution to this burning question. JS666 turbo-crams familiar and less familiar tunes in a row, stacked and overlapped at an uncontrollable pressure. The result is an audial strobe light, with each flash offering a new hearpoint to something distantly familiar. The rhythmical rapid fire bouncing in an innerspace of velcro shoe schlager, horse hormone techno and amputation ballet breaks traditional structures and rules. The tightly pressed lump of music actually contains everything you have ever wanted to hear. Tight shit and contempt towards all rules.

Noison
Noison is a one-man band from Vantaa, that produces sound in almost all its forms, the main style being the more heavy and experimental sound. The project has been active since 2004 and is nowadays focused more on dj’ing than music making. Noison joined Kovaydin.NET in 2009 and has been an active ever since, maintaining the Finnish underground scene to his best ability. The first gig was in 2010 at the Brainbashers: Ydintalvi party, after which he has played at nearly all events of Kovaydin.NET. At this year’s fest Noison will play a set of rhythmic noise!
RujoNic
Jedi Ahvenus aka RujoNic started creating music at the age of 13 when he got his first guitar, but soon after that hardcore music took his heart and he started creating his own sounds with FL studio. Years went by and he started thinking about playing in front of a live audience. In early 2007 RujoNic got his own set of equipment and not long after that he had proved his talent to the Finnish audiences. He’s currently running the Kolina-Produktio club in Tampere and is one of the resident dj’s at Kovaydin.NET’s events. His music consists primarily of breaks influenced core and aggressive distorted basslines as well as experiments with noise and speedcore.
Sa†an LIVE [RU]
Producer from Russia, supporter of exclusively hard and rough sound, started his music experiments in 2006. From darkstep drum and bass, he decided to disintegrate all over, with his own vision into electronic music! Breakcore, Metal, Darkstep and Speedcore, all used like a machine weapon, he’s ready to burn the floor on fire! The Most Furious Breakcore From Earth To Hell!!!

Säckxsätüs LIVE
The project called Säckxsätüs has now been active for 2 years. Releases: Plagiarized (on Night Terror Recordings) and 2 tracks on the Corekatsaus 2012 compilation (Kovaydin.NET). At Kovaydin Fest, he will play mostly unreleased material in which the more extreme forms of punk and metal (hardcore, crust, grind, sludge…) meet electronic music. This soup will be flavoured with rap and demonstration samples. The end result is anti-establishment noise in breakcore / breakpunk / digital hardcore categories.
Teknoaidi LIVE & Zutsuu
Zutsuu finishes Friday night by playing an atmospheric and also slightly ethno influenced dj set, which utilises various tempos and strong rhythms, taking them away from their subcultural contexts so that everything merges into one.
On Saturday Teknoaidi will play a shamancore live, taking influence from Finno Ugric music, worldmusic and psychedelia. The mission of shamancore is to resurrect the old wisdom of the healing properties of high tempo rhythmic music.
Valovoima LIVE
Valovoima is an electronic music project I started seven years ago. Nowadays my music has mostly influences from ambient, dubstep, rhythmic noise and speedcore. I get inspiration for my music from the nature and natural sciences. As a composer it’s boring to play the same tracks twice, so I always play a new set.
Wotzenknecht
I’m a French and Canadian visual artist whose other obsession is electronic music in all its non-conventional forms. I have recorded many podcasts and DJ’d for various music events since I moved to Finland, mainly through the club Mega Therion as well as my own occasional evenings called Feverish Dreams where I used to play 4+ hours sets of experimental music to piss off hangover people. Growing older made me realize that the dancefloor in the only place worth playing for, or jumping on. Having roots in different scenes allow me to create special blends, and for the Kovaydin festival, expect a heavy cocktail of harsh rhythmic noise as well as 90’s industrial hardcore and frenchcore, as a reminder of a golden era where Frenchies partied over monolithic, dissonant, acidic and relentless sonic assaults delivered by legendary Djs such as Laurent Hô, Liza’n’Eliaz or Manu Le Malin.
Zeuge LIVE [RU/BY]
Writing music for quite a long time, Zeuge discovered his own vision of sonic philosophy, passing through hardcore and breakcore to his own, actually, unique sound. Originating from Minsk, Dmitriy took part in numerous underground events and festivals all over the european part of ex Soviet Union territories. In 2008-2011 Zeuge was the leader of the top rated promo-group, organizing parties with guest musicians from all over the world.
As the time passed, Dmitry showed himself more like a composer and sound designer, than a dance electronica musician. Leaving hard and straightforward simplicity, Zeuge found his own style on Ambient and Hard-IDM territories. Investigating the ultramundane beat structures and distorting all kinds of emotions, this music comes very far from the trespasses of sound, known up to date. His music can be approximately described as a drift to the very different sonic landscapes with all types of human emotions, packed in blast tracks and dark stories.
You always have a choice, whether you want to make a journey to these new dimensions or not. If you follow Zeuge, he will take you away through labyrinth and open spaces and you will come back with the pockets full of magical objects and alien creatures.

Improvised ”hiiden virren vingutus” channeling
Time: Saturday (23.11.) @ around 19:00-20:00.
The Finnish ancestors were baffled when their village was visited by a faraway tribe, dressed in black hoods. At the time they thought they were Lappish shamans, but in fact, they had traveled a much longer distance. The blacksmith of this foreign tribe had forged boxes, that made various sounds. Some of the boxes made similar pounding sounds as the frame drum of the village’s wiseman. The other boxes made the kind of noises that one usually only hears inbetween the stages of dreaming and being awake. They squealed orcish hymns out of these boxes.
We gather around the table to channel these visitors by improvising, with the help of modern analog and digital as well as older acoustic instruments. You can also bring your own instrument. Besides Hiiden Virren Vinguttajat (Stak Etop and Teknoaidi) the number of the participants will be limited to six, so everyone who wishes to participate should mail us beforehand (zutsuu [a] gmail.com). The session will be recorded and the best bits will be released in the future on the Kovaydin.NET netlabel. Participation does not require prior musical skills, only the will to experiment.
